2010 ERA Membership Forum

The third Electronic Resources Australia (ERA) Membership Forum will be held on Friday, 12 February 2010 in Melbourne: following the VALA 2010 Conference (9-11 February 2010).

Registration will remain open until 1 February 2010.

We are pleased to announce that Ms June Wall (ASLA & ERA Executive Committee representative) will be the third speaker in the afternoon session. Other speakers previously announced are Ms Elisabeth Jackson (Executive Officer, Public Libraries Victoria Network Inc (Gulliver)) and Dr Warwick Cathro (Assistant Director-General, Resource Sharing & Innovation, NLA).

An outline of the agenda for the day is available on the ERA website.  A discussion paper for ERA Business Model agenda item will also be posted to the website on 28 January.

If you are interested in attending, please register by 1 February 2010: attendance is free but places are limited.

ERA Product Poll

The 2010 Product Poll will open shortly after the ERA Membership Forum on 22 February.

The results of the Product Poll will determine the prices for 2010/11 subscriptions.

The ERA website includes a listing of Australian libraries with ERA subscriptions. These are listed by sector, then by state/territory within each sector.

Links to the Library’s website and to their Australian Libraries Gateway entry are provided where possible, to make it easy for you to network with libraries in your sector or area who also subscribe to ERA products.
